Hello, readers!
June has finally arrived with its warm breezes, birdsong, and long, golden summer days. And with it… I’ve decided to slip yet another book into my already busy publishing schedule.
After finishing Bound in Shadows in May, I realized the story didn’t feel complete. One question kept tugging at me:
What about Jake—Gideon’s closest friend, his steady anchor, the man who stood beside him through everything?
So, I started sketching out a layout for Jake’s story. What began as a whim—my unexpected dive into Modern Gothic Romance—has turned into something I’ve genuinely enjoyed writing.
Where Gideon’s journey explored pain, self‑loathing, and the long road toward believing he deserved love, Jake’s path is different. He’s the man who is constantly unlucky in love. His story follows the chaos of modern dating (with plenty of meddling from his cousin Magda), the sting of disappointment, and ultimately, the slow unfurling of a deep, rich love with a mysterious stranger. Of course, I had to add in a surprise twist!
But am I done yet?
Let’s just say… this year may have a few more surprises in store.
