Hello, readers!
A few weeks ago, while I was finishing the last round of edits on Second Best, something unexpected slipped into my mind. A story idea—darker, more aching, threaded with that particular kind of longing that comes from loving someone you can’t have. I know… it’s a tale as old as time. But this one wouldn’t leave me alone. It sat with me, tugged at me, whispered to me.
So, the moment Second Best was done, I opened a new document and started writing Whisper My Name.
This story follows a woman who grows up loving a ghost—her best friend, her confidant, the one who held her together when the world felt too heavy. He was the presence who kept her loneliness at bay, even if it meant draining himself just to hold her for a moment, to wipe away her tears, to remind her she wasn’t alone.
But love, even ghostly love, can turn volatile.
After a jealous, poltergeist‑like outburst that leaves her apartment in ruins and her landlord ready to evict her, she makes the hardest choice of her life. She lets him go.
She takes a job in another state, determined to rebuild her world from the ground up. And there, far from everything she’s ever known, she meets a man who looks unsettlingly like her ghost—Caden. As their relationship deepens, truths begin to surface… truths that tilt her entire world off its axis.
Caden slips back into her life to reveal a secret.
And then he disappears again—taking both himself and the man she’s begun to love.
Now she’s left with a question that haunts her more than any ghost ever could:
Can she survive losing them both?
Whisper My Name Coming July 2026.
