We’re down to just a few short days until the release of Rysaria: Daughter of Shadow and Death on September 1st, 2026, and I’m deep in the final edits and reproof. This book took a darker turn than the first two in the series—ancient histories, buried motives, and long‑shadowed secrets rise to the surface in ways even I didn’t expect.

I’ll admit something: this one was hard to finish. The story I ended up with is not the story I started writing. I originally planned to weave Zeya and Evan’s arrival into Rysaria’s narrative, but the threads never felt right. So, about a month ago, I made the brave (and slightly reckless) decision to scrap the entire manuscript and start over. Any writer knows that’s the kind of choice that makes your pulse spike.

I had hoped to have the book wrapped well before our family vacation in early August… but instead, I found myself frantically typing the last few chapters while the deadline breathed down my neck. Still, the rewrite brought the story to life in a way the original never did, and I truly hope you enjoy the final result.

In other news, Seraphae: Daughter of Air and Magic is well on track for its December 1st, 2026 release. As for a fifth book in the Hybrid Daughters series… I’m still thinking about that one. The ideas are whispering, but I haven’t yet decided which voice to follow.

And don’t forget—my Gothic Short Story Collection will be arriving just in time for October. Expect dark mansions, hidden secrets, creeping intrigue, and maybe even a touch of romance to keep things deliciously tense.

Looking ahead, 2027 already promises new and exciting things. Suddenly Single will be releasing at the end of January—a truly heart‑wrenching story following one woman’s struggle to leave an abusive marriage that refuses to stop haunting her. It’s a journey of rediscovery, resilience, and the fragile hope of finding love again while rebuilding a life from the ashes.

I also have a brand‑new series stepping out of the shadows in 2027: The Ravina Mason Series. This one follows a restoration architect and designer who keeps stumbling into the most unusual projects—haunted mysteries, forgotten histories, and maybe even a touch of romance woven through the dust and secrets of old places. Atmospheric, intriguing, and just a little eerie… it’s a world I can’t wait to share with you.
